Back in 2004, I was looking for something to write on our school paper, and I feel that the topic that I have been wanting to write for quite sometime is already ripe for the picking.
I always want to write about the unknown. about the things that people call spooky. About ghost and spirits and the like. I started to ask and look for people that might be able to help me with it. It is this asking and looking that led me to meet this fascinating people that I now consider my brothers and sisters.
The interview and discussions led to a group discussions and one thing led to another. We agreed to compare notes and do some basic psychic research for the sake of knowledge. We never thought about actually communicating with spirits, that was never discussed between ourselves, but one summer night it happened. Carlos invited us to do a search on their ancestral house. One thing led to another. Now here we are, almost 3 years as friends and we’re still doing what we do. Now we have a name. “Lumina”, It means light. Let me introduce the rest of the team.
LYNN (not her real name) is a former member of a Baguio Spirit Questors group but left for some personal reason. This lady have a very sensitive psychic intuition. A strong clairaudience. She is able to hear sounds from the astral plane. She now works as a college instructor in one of Tuguegarao’s catholic university.
CARLOS is a clairvoyance, He have the gift of sight. He see things not normaly seen through the normal eye. He is also a decent claisentience. He could sense and feel energies in planes other than ours. He said he never understood this abilities until he attended Jaime Licauco’s training.
JANETTE is the reluctant psychic. It all started to her with what she call “a stupid girlish games”. Her third eye was forced open when she participated on a spirit of the glass session that went wrong. She was possessed by an entity that threatens to kill her. She escaped with her life with the help of a local shaman and some prayers. She is currently finishing her Masters Degree in Psychology.
RON is your not so regular happy-go-lucky guy, underneath his boyish grin and usually playful mood is a serious medium. This guy has a well developed astral travel ability and psychometry. He is perhaps the only person in the group who is in constant interaction with his spirit guides. He is decent clairvoyance and who got a serious ability when it comes to Lucid dreaming ( he knows when he is in a dream). A pity he is not always around because he works in Manila.
BRYAN (That’s me) is the group facilitator, perhaps the only one with a little (or without any) psychic ability. The guys always offer to (force) open my third eye. but im still thinking about it. im doing some practices and meditation to have it opened in my own way and my own pace. Right now I’m just happy to be the official chronicler of the group.
